Membership of the Club gives access to our two high quality lodges, one
at East Jindabyne and the other in Perisher Valley. Members receive.
concessional booking rates in the Club’s lodges as well as booking priority
and can nominate guests for accommodation and vote at Club general meetings.

Please note that membership does not guarantee a booking.
There are some heavy booking periods during the peak ski season as well as school
holidays in particular, which may be subjected to ballot.
Resignation and Transfer of Membership
While it is always sad to see our members leave the Club, we certainly
understand that there may come a time when you are ready to hang up
the ski gear and rest on fond memories and happy times with the Club.
We thank our long term members very much for their ongoing support of
the Club over the years.
The Club has a membership transfer bylaw that has been put in place to
allow valued and long time members to keep the association with the
Club alive through continued family membership where the original
member no longer wishes to remain active. The membership is
relinquished and subsequently transferred to a nominee approved by the
Board, generally to children, son/daughter-in-laws, grandchildren, nieces
and nephews.
There is also a requirement that the new member has stayed in the lodge
prior to becoming a full member – this can be done during the
application process. This is an important part of the Club acceptance
procedures and also for new members to confirm they are happy with the
facilities they are signing up for.
The proposed members need to formally apply for membership via an
application form (provided on request) and pay a capital contribution
fee which is reviewed annually by the Board. This fee arises from the levy
at the time of building of the new Perisher lodge and has been adjusted
for inflation. In the case of transfer such as this, the Board has determined
that in all fairness a new member should be asked to contribute in the
same manner as it supports ongoing maintenance and capital works at
the lodges, enabling the Club to continue to offer high quality
accommodation. The fee is currently $2235 (incl GST) and payable on
application. The Board is willing to accept payment in smaller parts over
a period by arrangement with the Treasurer where the applicant is a
student and/or is unable to pay in one lump. For junior members, the fee is
due after they turn 18. Additionally, any overdue fees for the transferring
membership need to be brought up to date.
