Trains operate from this point to Perisher Valley and to Blue Cow day resort. Tracked oversnow vehicles may be hired in Perisher but are expensive. The Club owns a small Argo tracked oversnow vehicle.  This is to be driven only by the Hut Manager, or others specifically authorised by the Board. The vehicle is, at the authorised member’s convenience, available to carry members ski equipment and luggage to and from the transport terminal and the ski centre. Incoming residents are advised to ring the lodge to ascertain its availability. Misuse of the Argo by any member will result in disciplinary action being taken by the Board. In the off-season cars may park in the designated car park adjacent to the lodge but the NPWS will not allow parking any closer (i.e. in front of the lodge beyond the car park).

Garbage: A garbage compactor installed in the kitchen. Garbags should be changed when half full of compacted waste and removed downstairs. They can then be taken down to the bins near the transport terminal using the Club’s Argo oversnow vehicle. Please use the additional bins in the kitchen for glass, can, plastic, paper and cardboard recycling.  Avoid placing cans and glass in the compactor.
